Hi Zak,
Really like the Bonhomme Richard story and the other links to East Riding of Yorkshire.
For me it will be an aeronautical theme, and I have a couple of projects in mind.
What I do like, is that you have started the diverse number of subjects and time line that this theme can cover.
Perhaps the twelve or so bits of wood supposedly from Bonhomme Richard will be re-created in due course, but who will be the first?
I think Bill has the given us the 'key' to a bigger more diverse theme within the club and beyond.
I will watch this thread closely, and where possible add to it.

I presume the Smer kit is now finished, if built at your usual build rate??

Thankyou for posting the pictures of the models, much appreciated.
Gave me a second chance to see the great selection of kits on show. Pity we still have a few members who cannot fill in a simple form, cannot see what's hard about it.

Thanks for posting the pictures, they are great.
I can see some very nice caption photo's both for us and the IPMS magazine.
I'll have a chat with you on Wednesday night, and discuss further.
I had a brilliant weekend with all you guys, the camaraderie , and the usual banter made the weekend fly by ( or is it sail by for you nautical chaps?)
Looking forward to 2019 all ready!!

Not to sure about a good kit for the F4U-7, but a Skyraider would complement nicely.

A very nice looking model, I always had a soft spot for the Avenger.
Will you be doing a 'deck style' base/diorama, to show it off in its natural element?
What about a F4U-7 Corsair in 1/72 in 'Aeronavale' colours now to complement the Avenger??
Perhaps Telford might be a place to start.
