Hi All,
Continuing with the submarine theme, I have been building a type IXB in 1/350 to go with the recently completed Type IXC.
Have not posted the build process at the early stage, but now as it nears completion, I would like to share some pictures with you of progress to date, and in the coming posts to completion itself.
Some pictures of the model so far:-
Cheers,
Bigkev

I think this is number 6 for me, with at least 3 more to go at moment.
Cheers,

Have you thought about making a Submarine Pen diorama? Then you could show them all together, plus it would keep you occupied for a while during Lockdown. Unless you're like Zak and then it would be finished in a weekend!!!

Hi All,
Thanks for your comments.
Only watched Das Boot on Tuesday night Bob, but gave me much insight into the innards of the submarine.
Anyway, I have nearly finished IXB, and have included pictures of it so far.
I had a check and this is number 7, on the build of submarines, not 6.
cheers,
Kevin

Hi Msea,
Thanks, but at the moment there are no pens, but after watching 'Das Boot', there is a possibility of something on the horizon.
The little grey cells (though few in number..) are working on a diorama for a future project.
Cheers,
Kevin

Beautifully finished.
Well done that man.

Absolutely amazing!
as I am not up much on the recent (relatively) Maritime world,
just how big are these masterpieces in terms of inches?

Hi Howard,
Thanks for the kind comments with those of the rest of the gang.
A Type IXB in 1/350 scale is about 8.5 inches long.

So in the grand scheme of things they are relatively small.
That makes your modelling even more impressive!
