This is a Profiline 1/72nd model. The mouldings are very clean. I'll be building the one on the box.
-
Nice, but small, you are starting to rekindle my love for helicopters.
I sorted my file out of helicopters to let you have just before lockdown last March, but never got them to you, maybe in the future.

Do you mean photos of the ones you've made Dave?
I have plenty more to make yet and rekindle your enthusiasm.

I kept a folder on helicopters, models and other information, it might be of interest,

Main sub-assemblies done - cabin, floats and tail.

Hi Chris,
Been watching, and I am impressed.
I know how 'small' the Italeri Hughes 'Cayuse' is in 1/72. A Hughes 500 family member.
So, this model, will be small yet intricate.
Keep going Chris, It will look great once finished.
Cheers,
Bigkev

Cabin and main fuselage assembled.

Store it away for future reference.

No doubt Haddock has this already retained in his memory the comments, ready for suitable payback in due course.
Nice build though Chris, keep at it.

Floats finally attached to main fuselage - very tricky; it's been slow progress with this one.
-
Maybe slow but very good
-
Looks quite a challenge.
-
That's an interesting little model Chris. Is the interior from the kit or an after market one?

The interior parts are all in the kit. This is being built straight out of the box - slowly.
-
Looks like the sort of kit that will test your skills Chris. Looking good.
-
Looks good with the go faster drop tanks, only joking it’s looking good.

Looks futuristic without the rotor fitted, as if it belongs underwater.

Almost. Got the main and tail rotors on now.

Hi Chris,
Look forward to seeing this one, complete with rotors and a smart paint job.

Hopefully soon. Painting underway by hand - I felt it was a little small for the airbrush.
-
Painting partly done. Just to show I use colours other than grey.

Nice to see a different colour scheme.

After I've put the decals on.

That's a nice wee helicopter.

Finished at last. It's funny how the smallest models appear to take the longest.
-
Is it because there's less parts so we take more time? Anyway it looks great.

Agree it looks a great model.
As to small things, it is because we try to get hands and eyes to work more closely together, but as we age, neither wants to co-operate.
Great work Chris, and a pretty one too.....

Thanks for the comments.

Nice to see some different colours.

I know this is a very old post but I'd like to stick my oar in... I'm new here! Nice job Chris... and you beat me to it. Having seen a few in the
flesh... metal, I'm a bit of a fan of Guardia di Finanza aircraft!
