The Dora Wings Percival Proctor is my next build after the delightful Hasegawa A6M3s. It is proving to be nearer the challenging end of the spectrum the the Zeros mainly due the vagaries of the instructions colour schemes, both of which only share a passing resemblance to reality.
Anyway here's the fuselage buttoned up and drying off while I attempt the cockpit canopy assembly.

It looks good.

Very neat, as always.
Haddock.

Tidy and everything in its place
-
Nice painting of the console.
-
Yes, nice console.

The cockpit canopy is made up of five pieces and is proving to be quite a challenge and that's the polite description. Much filing, scraping, filling and sanding will be required to get a result.

Hi Francis,
That looks very good and a bit of a puzzle with that canopy.
I'm sure you will triumph.
Cheers,

The canopy continues to challenge. Masked up for trowelling on layers of filler.

Hi Francis,
Looks like you're giving this one lots of love and attention.
it'll be worth it in the end.

Now then Kev, thanks for the encouragement however the love is wearing thin as it's a slow process that's taking several filler applications to fair the canopy into the fuselage. Hopefully by the end of play today I'll be moving onto fitting the windscreen.
