Is that Northern Model Show? This was before I joined the club - I left the army in May 2010 and think I discovered the club later that year. My first meeting was in Bridlington Railway Station Buffet towards the end of the year.
Anyway, Northern model show is the one I always enjoyed going to - not that I've been to many - so it's nice to see stuff from that far back.

Before it moved north of the Tyne it was held in a Leisure Centre in South Shields, so yes, it is.

I don't want to put a 'downer' on the posting, but I wonder when we'll get to see another model show this year?
If we have to cancel ours, the first of the year might be Newark?
Scale ModelWorld at Telford may also be much smaller/quieter... assuming it still goeas ahead this year.

Hi Biggles,
Looking at the trend, perhaps 'Our Show' may be too early for things to have returned to normal, Southwell maybe the same.
Telford..... Well, hopefully life will start to return to normal by then, if not, and that goes we can forget 2020 show wise.
Looks like Bolton 2021, is a hot contender in the gambling stakes.
Cheers,

You may be right, our show in September may be too early for things to have returned to normal ... whatever 'normal' might be. I fear our world will NEVER be the same again.
We may have to forget 2020 as far as model shows go, and look forward to Bolton 2021.
It'll be good to start the monthly Club meetings again though, whenever that might be.
I didn't think I'd miss seeing you lot as much as I do... and we've only just missed one meeting!

Is it the hugs and kisses you miss?
John's Tea and biscuits?
The abuse?,
The models?
The Banter?
I think it might be the first, but social distancing now prevents that, choose another...

You can hug and kiss him if you like Kevin but the rest of us are keeping 2m away from him for the next 20 years - hohoho - sorry Biggles

I not worried about Covid-19,
it is his choice of aftershave, 'Tamiya Extra Thin' loses its potency after about 15 seconds...!!

Hi Msea,
You could be right....
But does it stick plastic together...?
If not, it won't be in Biggles modelling drawer.
I rest my case,
Bigkev
