Well there is not a lot in the box and it is all bright red.
The scale is 1/81 but is sometimes quoted as 1/96.
I suppose I will have to measure it and see what is works out at.
Eat your heart out Tony Ward.
The first cruise missile with a nuclear warhead?
Not really a rocket as it carried fuel but burnt the fuel in air.
Most of the test missiles are red, whereas in service they were sort of grey -ish, the one in Utah looks white to me.
See here http://www.hill.af.mil/About-Us/Fact-Sheets/Display/Article/397182/northrop-xsm-62a-snark/

Looooook out for President Trump -- you seem to have MORE missiles than North Korea.
-
I think this will be a quick build, but the painting will take the time.

A little more assembly.

Aaaaaw!
What happened to the nice red?

I wanted one in service, so the red had to go.
If you look at the figures they look very similar, the one of the right is from the Honest John missile(1:54) and the smaller one is from the Snark (1:81).
Obviously they are related.
Oh and by the way a Snark is from Lewis Carol and is "A creature defined in Lewis Carroll's "The Hunting of the Snark". Described as those creatures "that have feathers, and bite, and those that have whiskers, and scratch"".

Here we are finished, just the figure and a final coat of varnish to be added.

Hi Zak,
Liked the 'Red' option, but finished in white looks really impressive.
Is it Halfords Appliance White?
Cheers,

Tamiya gloss white, I will give it a coat of their gloss varnish as well rather than Klear.

Hi Zak,
Well I think its a very nice 'white' finish all the same.
Cheers,
