Title: 1/35 revell Unimog 404S
Post by: zak on July 27, 2023, 01:17:33 PM
Sort of Argentine related, they were used by many armed forces.
The British used some captured ones in the Falklands and the Berlin Brigade had some courtesy of the Germans.
Touch wood, so far it has been a fairly trouble free build.
Every thing painted, varnish then decals and final assembly.

I wanted something like the real thing when I worked on the Moor to get around easier. Looking forward to seeing this put together.

Assembled, decals added, just needs the wipers and some weathering.

Looks good Dave. Unimogs are stunningly good vehicles. I had U1300L [Schussler Unimog] in Africa and it certainly lived up to the old adage, 'when the going got tough the tough got going'.

It was after our conversation last meeting that inspired me, that and reading about the Argentine Forces on the Falklands.
