As I said before
"the dark side"

I do have one still on the go if you remeber "The Passat". Must get back to that one sometime. Dont hold your breath though. Ships are great except for one thing, ....they don`t fly very well!

Starting to look busy now. There are twelve stays on each funnel and twelve ships boats to fit in this space. The brass is a bit disappointing, it just don't fit in lots of places, some of it has been replaced with generic stuff.
Could be a test of manhood.
Haddock.

Looking at the picture I must admit to being pleased with the rings around the funnels, eight on each funnel. They're meant to represent some sort of a handrail to hang planks on for painting etc. The brass ones looked horrible so I removed 'em and replaced them with my own version, looks ok to me.

It's fishing line, threaded through holes and pulled tight, then super-glued just at the hole, poked around with a finger-nail till it looks right, then flooded with Johnsons to give a fillet. Once painted it looks quite convincing.

Nice Haddock, very nice.
That Msea will be envious of your 'chains' and he'll be posting very soon I bet.
They look so natural, brilliantly done sir.........well done.
