The wheels were fitted to the axles and those for the trailer went into position quite easily, all painted Tamiya Rubber Black with Dark Grey dry brushed on the running surfaces. Vallejo Steel has been applied to areas where wear would usually be found, this was then partially covered with chipping fluid followed by a coat of Vallejo US Olive Drab. Once dry this was rubbed back to show the Steel and in places taken back to the primer as it looks like oil spills. The hinges for the folding rear ramps were very fragile and both broke. Despite various attempts to fix them they wouldn't bond and so I decided to glue the ramps in place and then retro fit the halves of the hinges. Unfortunately one pinged out of the tweezers and became a victim of the carpet monster. The winch gear was made up and fitted behind the cab. Again I found that positioning the parts to make this up didn't quite match the instuctions, but that could just be me?
