Title: BILL PLUNK.
Post by: Haddock on July 24, 2016, 10:28:15 AM

I discovered this purely by accident, one of the happiest accidents I've had for some time. If you google "BP models", you should find Bill Plunk's website. He builds mainly armour but there are also some aircraft and ships.

He takes you through building each model, from opening the box to photographing the finished article, describing his methods, materials used, problems he found and how he overcame them, each stage accompanied by superb photo's. You can see everything he's done since 2006.

The workmanship is absolutely stunning, as is the photography and the write-ups.
If this doesn't inspire you to greater things, you should seek medical help.

Do bear in mind that the techniques can be applied to any type of model!

Thanks Haddock just looked at the site -- excellent
Now I have another modeller to try and get about 10% as good as - my models will never get this good or as good as yours but I enjoy making them and I do TRY to improve a little with each one.
