Title: Expecting someone taller
Post by: otherworld79 on May 30, 2017, 02:59:51 PM
After waiting for nearly a month, the postman finally rattled my letterbox with my parcel. I swiftly dashed to my chair and began unwrapping the parcel like a chubby child with a chocolate bar, upon opening it I find not a 75mm figure as advertised but a 35mm figure. I would have been slightly irked by this if I hadn't paid a mere £2.00 for it from one of those shady Chinese fellas on the internet and the moulding is really nice so all was well in the end.

Hi Wayne,
Seems 75mm translates as 35mm in China, 'lost in translation' comes to mind.
However saying that, £2.00 isn't a bad price to pay for a really nice figure.
Look forward to seeing that at the meeting.
Bigkev

PS. I'm not the taller figure, just one of the in'betweenies'

I know what you mean I have had a few chuckles at the descriptions when they have translated over from Chinese to English it would seam the same can be said for size as well. I'll bring it along to the next meeting for you all to have a look at.  :)
