Club News
The recent trip to the Telford IPMS
nationals was a great success. A number of club members
made the journey to display models and shop in the world
largest model shop (if only for a weekend!)
Mr Tony Beesting won a gold medal for one of his Bi plane
models, which was well deserved. He also received a
commended certificate for another Bi plane model.

The recent Railway Model Show was well
attended and from what I could tell there was a good number
of votes for the club competition. The standard of models
on the club display was excellent.
The August club
meeting was great fun and there was an interesting range of
models on the table. The discussion about the models was
lively and very informative.
Jeff Metcalfe
won the July competition night with his excellent Stug III
Aus F. Well done Jeff and also well done to everyone else
who brought a model and entered the competition.
Neil
Robinson did join us at the last club meeting and brought
along his collection of FW 190’s plus an interesting story
about them.
