Yes I've used some of the Humbrol dark green and dark brown washes on the oil drums. Maybe I'll try some washes on the ground. Need to source some grass now.

Well here is my first diorama with much inspiration from Dave and Martin.  It has been quite different modelling bits I have not done before.  I have enjoyed doing it. I have one or two ideas for future diorams now.  If anyone can offer improvements I'm all ears.
This shows the helicopter off really well.
Well done.
Andy.

Neat. Could we have the odd blade of grass please.
Haddock.
Just for you Tony  - modification A - a bit of grass, two bits actually. Can't overdo it.

Very effective, if sparse.
Keep the chairman happy.

As you know I use oil paint and there is a Burnt Umber(Green Shade).
I use this as a wash over bare earth and it adds a bit of interest to
the ground.
I was having another "senior moment", it is Raw Umber, which is a bit "dirtier looking"
than the Burnt variety. Sorry about that.

Ah, senior moments I have quite a few.
Actually now refined them to CRAFT moments.

Bet I'm part of a bigger undisclosed group within the club.
