Thank you for all your kind words.
I have been surprised at how little in the way of reference material I have been able to find on the 3.7” considering how widely used it was during and after the war.
Anyway I’m pleased it’s turned out so well.

Today the 3.7" HAA Gun is complete.

Blimey Bill, 4 days from a load of mystery bits to the finished and very impressive article.  Excellent work!

Hi Wizzel,
19th March until today is not four days!!
However, if Withernsea is in a different time continuum, then I suppose 4 days might be right, but in my world it is about a month??

Four days or four weeks just think how many models Dave would have finished.

The blooming country would be slowly tipping over to the East Coast, and Bempton would be under water..
Bigkev.

PS. But if he had a barrage balloon or two, then they might balance things up?
I hope my next is always better

Hi Bill,
The gun looks great... as the others have mentioned, a testament to your modelling skills.
Let's just hope you get the chance/opportunity to display it in all its glory on the Battle of Britain 80th Anniversary Display at Scale ModelWorld (Telford) in November...
(... along with all Dave's vehicles and buildings!)

Then there's the 90cm Searchlight, range/height finder, generator, and truck to mount it on, and the crew...
... it's a never ending project Bill!

Power to your elbow,
Biggles

No, it was a reply to Bill's post on 15th April where he put a picture of the almost completed work and the remaining bits he still had to locate.  I may be on a different planet to the rest of you but the time zones are the same :-)

Hi Wizzel,
Ah, sorry matey.
Did not mean to offend, just thought you had missed some dates out of the build.
Probably we all need to have a planetary meet soon....
Time zone in Driffield now is...…. Bedtime!
Cheers,
Bigkev

Apologies are not necessary Kev as I never choose to be offended.  I could quite easily have felt like 4 days from the start of the build though the speed the days seem to be going by at the minute.  They have my express permission to drag as long as they wish until next Monday though as I am now on holiday for a while.
