Sorry Andy but its back to the drawing board for the Dhow.
Decided that as it was a gift from Haddock, I had better do it right and rig it, instead of just gluing the paper sail to the resin mast.
Will have to replace the mast with brass rod and then use the original resin mast as the sails top bar, even if I was extra specially careful with the rigging it would break the weak resin mast - and you all know I don't tend to be extra careful at the best of times.

Nobody will notice but the ships ribs and hatch covers have been painted with a different colour brown.
The new brass rod mast has now got 3 sets of rigging for the mast on each side.
