A lot of thinking and not much modelling going on at the moment.
Blast walls and the end door of the shelter.

Hi Zak,
I thought that that rumbling was a mini earthquake in the direction of Bempton.
Now I know that it was you 'thinking', both have a similar resonance.
Joking apart, it all looks great, don't worry man, just do what you 'think' it should look like and 'don't worry about others'.
Cheers,
Bigkev

It is all getting out of hand, even with some compression the model is getting quite large.
I have built it in parts but even so I may have bitten off more than I can cope with.

NEVER -- it will look great at Telford and you will be inundated with people trying to join your SIG.  My only worry is that with this model and your V2 model -- as they said in the film JAWS -- you are going to need a bigger table.

Due to the size of his exhibits Zak is going to need another venue at Telford this year. Also he's going to need Pickfords to get it there!!

Hi Zak,
Well its impressive even in its current basic state., Perhaps you could embody 'Honey I Shrunk the Kids' method on this one.
Build it large, shrink it, transport it easily to Telford, then once in situ enlarge it back to normal size.
See it really is simple, other than it being Sci-Fi fantasy................................
Bet you will have them falling over themselves at Telford to join.
Cheers,
Bigkev

Missile is now in place, this is the BW, vacuum formed one on a scratch built erector.
The photos show the various stages in the launch, there will be lots of stuff to add inside the shelter. The resin launch pad may not travel well - time will tell no doubt.

Thanks Kevin, they already have an article on the V2, but they do seem slow to publish things.
