Small jig made to help make the portholes on the ships side the same thickness.  She has 2 ford and 3 aft at the crew accommodation positions.

Thank you Kevin -- but as normal I have it the wrong way round --its 3 portholes ford and 2 aft -- bet you didn't know but Zak would have !!!!  -- he of the deep research.

Not a clue, so do what you will. Most of my stuff is best guess at the end of the day.
I have found whatever you do someone usually tells you something is wrong, you can only do your best.

All stanchions fitted -- now to make 2 bits of chain in small tubes to be fastened into holes in front of the ford stanchion -- to fasten the rails to the deck.
BH (Before Haddock) I would have just drilled a large hole in the deck and tried to glue the rails into this.

A section of chain fastened to thread and this glued into a small brass tube, this tube then glued into a hole drilled in the boat deck.

Thank you Bridlufc -- glad to be of help.
Started to fasten the top rail in place - slow job this one having to do one stanchion at a time.
Being a good Yorkshire man -- using cheap "knitting-in elastic" from Boyes. When all fastened in place will give another coat of primer, so did not need to run the knitting-in elastic on a black felt tip.

Hi Msea,
or is it, Dear Frugal of Walkington?
Like the ingenuity and the tight fistedness of the build, a true 'Yorkshire Build'
'Brains with a tight fist'
Cheers,
