Ford deck seems OK - small gap so added a filler of acrylic.
Aft deck added with again a large amount of pressure to get it into line.

The cast on ladders up the side of the hull removed and etch brass replaced them. The ladders up the front of the turret was one of the ziggurat solid type, so removed and replaced with brass.

Not really, my only "tip" is "get stuck in".

ALL your comments are like little nuggets of gold  -- I like this one. It is easy to say I can't do it ,its difficult, its so small, it will look like 5$%£ -.  BUT if you just get stuck in, each time will be easier.
Yoda Haddock, I will have to find that cartoon i did of Haddock as Yoda with the comment - how do you make your sea base look so realistic - "About a bit push it you do"

Thank you - it was the brass you gave me from SMW - so you can say you are part of my model - or would you keep quiet about being part of one of my models -- ??????

I now have the image of Tony speaking as Yoda stuck in my head.

If I could be Tony's agent think of the royalties he could earn, and my percentage.

Big earner, my young 'Skywalker', he would say.....................

I'll never look at Tony again without the image of 'Yoda' in my mind..........
He is the 'Master' of Plastic and etch
Cheers,
Bigkev.

The model has no net shelf so one made from 0.5mm acrylic.
After it is solid, will make it a little bit smaller and add some net and the operating bars and wires.

First shot is some tutu net from Boyes - coloured and then rolled up. The second shot is this added to the net shelf.

Just found a good photo of a Japanese sailor standing guide on the Orel in one of my books. It shows the main turrets have a single row of rails round the turret top with a gap near the observation hoods.
