No I was trained correctly by "Bodgit & Quickly" ---  talking about scarper that is what I shall do at the club meeting when they see the 2 models I am bringing  -- "Steam Punk Banker"  and the  "Club Committee Meeting"

bend and mend yourself Haddock.
Made some coal sacks they are OK on mast but too large on ship so made a lot more smaller ones. The large ones are painted brown on the first photo.

Thank you Kevin for the comments -- but as you know I am just trying to catch up with you lot.
Just returned yesterday from 5 days in London and have spent 2 full  days in Greenwich Maritime Museum ( not as an old exhibit before you ask) have found some good information about colliers and will incorporate this into the next collier model.

The main decks of the "Orel" painted and some individual planks picked out in different colours. Then some of the bits and bobs on the deck painted in grey.

Hi Msea,
A very nice themed display of two models in a real event setting.
I'm sure the finished article will be very appealing.
Cheers,
Bigkev

The 4 accommodation blocks on the main deck now in place.
Have done a dry fit with the next 2 decks above and found the ships sides are well splayed out -- so will have to use gentle persuasion to bring them into shape - listen for the crack, you should be able to hear it as far as Brid.
