I am saying NOTHING but the film "Silence of the lambs" comes to mind -- I think a cartoon is also in the back of my thoughts.
I could include a photo but it is so scary it would be moderated.

Hi Zak, there is a review of the V2 in December issue of Finescale Modeler magazine.

Sticking it all together.
The top is just placed in position.
It has a detailed interior and so all that will need to be added before it is stuck in place.
Test fitting suggests that quite a bit of work will be needed on the chassis to get the control room to fit on it.

There was a lot more to launching a V2 than I first thought.  Not just a bloke with a box of matches and fast legs!

Watching some of the launches it looks like all those suggestions would have been a good idea.

Interior painted.
The panels were apparently operated by trained telephonists.

There were still more vehicles required, compressors, generators, ladders, spare part trucks, survey vehicles and so on.

Hi Zak,
Nice to know you will be working on this project for a little longer than you initially envisaged............
I assume in the interests of accuracy, you will be doing all the other items involved..........?
This will be a really impressive diorama once complete.
Cheers,
Bigkev
I hope my next is always better

I think it will be several dioramas.

Probably the 3rd - To every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
Anyway back to modelling, the top is on the control centre and guess what - you can hardly see all the detail inside.

Just love to see 'self-moderation' applied.
I'll put a note on your school report.
