The rainy Easter has given me time to finish this project. There certainly were a lot of aerials on this one.
The first pictures show a basic jig used to assemble the aerials on the fuselage sides.
The other photos (see next post) show the rest of the aerials on the finished model. The loop aerials on the fuselage sides were replaced with brass rod. The whip aerials on the roof are rigging thread. All of the others were made from plasticard and pinned in place with brass.
The real aircraft is held up with a prop under the fuselage when parked which made life a lot easier. To get enough nose weight in to balance it would have overloaded the scale thickness main undercarriage. I just put a little weight in the nose to keep the balance on the prop, as with the big tail surfaces this is very tail heavy otherwise.
Anyway, I'm rambling again, so I'll sign off on this project.
