This one shows wiring the rear panel in progress.  Note the very basic and thin rear panel - this is appropriate for an OV-10A (the D model was quite different).  Cotton covered copper wire as before.  Once cut to length I sealed the ends by dipping in Klear to stop the cotton unravelling.  In the photo you can see some lengths drying.

And lastly here are a couple of shots of the wiring in place, along with the ejection seats.

Now that the seats are in they look fractionally on the small side, but they will have to do.  However it could be my imagination, and when the canopy is finished it might look right anyway!

Thanks guys, feedback appreciated.  I had a look at some photos of Broncos on the internet, and my feeling now is that the seats are about right.  They were a lightweight seat made by Rockwell and they were quite small, when you see a pilot sat on one the seats do look quite tiny compared to a Martin Baker Mk4 for example.
Anyone else out there building aircraft models - we do seem a bit light on them at the moment?

Ok, we are back on with this one.  I have added the rest of the details to the cockpit (some bracing on the rear windows and mic leads on the seats) and glued the lid on.
The second photo shows the gun sight body painted, a light to go behind the glazing on the nose, and some preliminary masking on one of the main wheels.
Probably the main bit of progress though was making a "to do" list for things that need doing before I start colouring in.

Hi Chaps
Here's todays progress.
1. Gear bay doors, cowlings, footsteps all cleaned up and mounted on card for spraying.  Quite a few sink marks and ejector pin marks to clean up on these.
2. Some colours tested on a bit of foam board.  The favoured colours will be tested on an old Airfix Beaufighter wing to check they look good on a bigger area and in 3D.
3.  Gunsight fitted, including some wiring from lead wire.
4. Nasty seam in top of nose wheel bay hidden by a strip of lead foil.
Not much, but these little things take time to get right.
