Brass bar made to fit round the main mast and plastic tube fitted over this for the spar.
The last photo shows the coffins that will be placed on the deck.

After reading your comment Zak -- we now have the board to fasten the shrouds onto ( this is the rigging shroud not the shroud for the deceased ) and we also have some colour on the coffin - it might  be the cough that did it !!!!!!

However, you do have the knack of coming up with something to get the grey cells going..........Damn You!!

I'll get my own back this weekend, now where's that 1/2" brush to paint the grass green........

Sorry Kiteman NOT A LOT - waiting for my friend to make the sails and have been working on N/S Savannah - should be back on the Demeter in a week or so.

Well its been a time but my friend Lisa has now made the sails - a little cleanning up on the edges to do.
The extra bit of sail is now in the concoction - so will give it a couple of hours and see what colour it turns out.

That has been 3 hours in the concoction.
Will let it dry overnight and if the colour is too light, back into the concoction it will go -- easier to keep getting it darker than trying to make it lighter.
