This is a photo with a Tamiya 1/35 scale figure. Hope this helps.

I think they are about 1/48 or 1/43 scale approx.

Splendid work MSea.  Will there be a small diorama to accompany this in time?

Well back home again had a great trip to Portsmouth for the "36 Hours - Jutland Exhibition"
Yes Wizzel a small diorama if I can finf 1/43 or 1/48 figures cheap.
The side pod car has now had fillers on the wheel arches and it is  fitted to the frame. It has also had USA style cow bumpers fitted to the front.
The last photo shows a cut down truck - this will have a fuel tanker to pull -- now looking for suitable tube for the fuel tank !!!

Well a tube found and the tank made. The tank has been painted as an old Shell tank ( 20 years with the company so its the natural choice )
I was going to try Wizzels method of using sand from an egg timer --- BUT HE HAS BOUGHT THEM ALL --- none left in the Beverley shops only electronic or mechanical ones. So methed number 2 - ground down some old used tea bag leaves to a very fine scale in a mortar and pestle. -- waiting for it to dry and then on with some more paint.

Your post apocalyptic theme has re-kindled my interest in the Sci-Fi side of things, and of course Andy is doing Jules Verne.
I have always liked Steampunk so who knows?

I think it was John Cook who gets egg timers from Boyes not me.

Truck to pull the oil tanker has now had the lights removed and also the top above the driver. Ground tea used to make rust and a coat of paint on top of this. Will let this dry and then weather and rust on top of this.
Decided that the bag of toy soldiers for a £1 would never clean up -- so have made them look a little like the sand men from Star Wars film. Thin sections of wine bottle top wrapped in place and will be painted in sand colour. The goggles made from 2 sections of round plastic and will be painted black and silver - we will see how they go. This will then alow me to put the cars into a small diorama.
Have not decide who the model  figure looks like so have not given him a name -- any ideas ???????

Thanks Haddock I will try and come up with a name.
The base has now been started - a coat of plaster and some cat litter added.
