Supermarine 'Seafang FR32' Finished
« on: February 05, 2013, 08:52:15 AM »
As promised here are the final photos of the 'Seafang' project.
Certainly worth the effort as I cannot see any other model company doing this as a subject for a long time, if ever!
The curved windscreen was really tricky and could have been missed out as VB 895 originally flew without it fitted.
The transfers were taken from the spares box as those in the kit were way off register.

:) It was nice to see the real model on the club night.
Its a sad fascination that you have with the Spitfire.
Cheers

Hi Meremodeller,

I agree with Zak, it looked great on the club table. I could actually see the finished article, you will see mine at the next meeting.

However, like Zak, I am a little concerned that you are suffering from 'Spitfireoverwhelmus' a rare disorder which can lead to the drinking of Glycol instead of tea.

But no matter, I have to say it was a very NICE model, well done!

I hope my next is always better
