Yes Klear coats and 'microfills' minute scratches. I've used toothpaste before as an abrasive but didn't know about Turtle Wax, thanks.

I use polyWatch from Stark Industries, a German company or Greygate Plastic Polish to enhance clear parts.

Greygate Polish for most clear parts of Airfix and Japanese kits. While Greygate will improve Revell and Eastern European kits clear parts polyWatch polish seems to give and even clearer finish on these kits.

The canopy of the Special Hobby He 178 V-1 below was polished with polyWatch.

I use green wash and dust as most of my planes are in the scrap yard - hohoho - you all know I don't do pristine finishes.

I use Deluxe 'Looks like Glass' to give a similar effect.

Here it is complete. Not bad; the decals are a little on the thick side - don't look too closely.
The mouldings of the glazing heve not turned out too badly - acceptable.

If I had made it I would be very very very happy - don't know what you see wrong with it.

Hi Chris,
A very good build. You are 'the man' to go to about helicopters.
Nice work once again.
Cheers,
Bigkev
I hope my next is always better
