I'm mightily impressed Howard. The face of the Saracen is amazing. I've had it up to nearly life size on my screen and it looks like a photograph of a living and breathing Saracen.
Thanks Francis!....if it has passed being blown up to that size
it is more by luck than management! Good to know though, thanks!
I just wish the stuff on the back was anywhere near passable. Planning on
another go at that tomorrow.

Hi guys!.... afraid I've not been well, still aren't really! Side effects of drugs to control side effects of other drugs ad nauseum!
I've got a few pics I took when I did some for Bill's Virtual table, so will put them on (If I can remember how!)
I have not touched them or a paint brush since then.

All the bits are located with BlueTack only as it is usually better to fix the big bits, horse etc
and then with riders, lances, heads etc ensure to get them lined up, looking at each other and all that.
The last thing I did was put on the "Home Made" stickers (Templar Crosses). They now need to be overpainted, but will have to wait a while as hands are still bit shakey!
And as for the Saracen Cloak....maybe that is what brought it all on!... Lost for ideas... it's not finished at this stage, but don't know the way forward, short of overpainting as plain colour.....Maybe will get inspiration....Allah Akhbar

Have just received another set of pills which, hopefully, should put me back to normal(nearly) in couple days, so may be able to start again.
Off now to spend the rest of the day catching up on the site.

Had a disaster day with these two a couple of weeks ago
so have had time out!
Picked up recently and have admitted defeat on patterned cloak.
Still progressing but heading for the shelf of shame!

How can a model of this excellence be destined for a shelf of shame??
I wonder at your skill Howard, at every instalment you post.
I'm sure after a break, your Mojo will return and you will achieve the finish you desire.
