I use Klear but as you say you have to make sure the brush is clean, ask me how I know?
How do you know Chris?

Yeah, I got plenty of streaks. So far this time around the inside of the glazing looks ok.

A little progress. All the engine parts and exhausts assembled. New tail on. Now for the fine detail.

On the subject of Klear on glazing I thought one was supposed to soak the
part in the Klear ( for a week or so) and then allow to drain/ dry naturally?

I've always just dipped the part in Klear, placed it on a paper towel to get rid of the excess and allowed it to dry naturally. Sometimes it needs a couple of applications.

Like Haddock, I dip it and allow to drain and then dry.

Sounds better than brushing it on.

Too easy to get air bubbles and dirt.

BUT a zombie helicopter needs bubbles and dirt - YoHoHo  sorry about that, I do the same just dip the part and let it drip onto a paper towel.

Fuselage ready for primer.
Made a mistake when placing the roof on the fuselage - needs to be 0.75mm lower. This only came to light when fitting the doors. So instead of taking it all apart again I increased the height of the doors to compensate. Good enough for me.
