Sherlock Smith has got it. This is the Revell R8 Spyder. An enjoyable build so far.
But what scale is it?

Come on Sherlock, you must be able to deduce the scale given your ability.

And you're both right, it's 1:24 scale. Body primed this morning so there'll be no action on this one for a couple of days.

Nothing personal with this one, just like the look and sound of the real thing plus I got it dead cheap at the last Bolton show.

Aaaah, Martin will be pleased.
You may be a Kiwi, but you have good indications you could make an honorary Yorkshireman.
Tight fisted, and up for a bargain!

Now then Kev steady on, honorary Yorkshireman, really!

Todays work on the R8 has been addressing the cabin, particularly the seats and seat belts. The colour on the seats needs blending in but that's for tomorrow after the oils have begun to gel a bit.

Starting to look good Francis.

The seats look the part, even before they have had that extra touch.

Cheers,
