Some vacform canopies ae easier to cut out than others. I find the sanding down to be the part requiring most patience and care. Was there a spare with this kit as that's a bonus from some manufacturers?
Not this one. I have had spares from other manufacturers.
Yes I try to get as close as possible with sharp scissors, then sand. I built this one not the way the instructions suggested. I think the trick is to do it slowly and patiently.

Assembly complete - now ready for masking. A fair amount of clean-up was requied on the in,dividual parts. The vacform glazing was a bit tricky, but got there in the end.
So far so good.

Main colours on. Olive drab upper surfaces and neutral grey underneath. Almost ready for decals.
