Also, whilst searching the cupboard, see previous, I came across this jar of gold powder .I have had it years but never used it.
I wanted to do the B Guy's coat turnbacks gold, and most gold paint is grainy and Printers Ink
would be too metallic looking for cloth, so I thought to give it a go. You need to paint the
item matt black first then apply with a cotton bud and polish.
It dues tend to go everywhere and it is advisable to wear a mask. (Plenty of those around these days, unfortunately)
I reckon that jar is about enough to cover a footbal lpitch!

Thanks for the favourable comments.
I have put a base together using slate out of the garden. Hopefully, the fact that the
small guy is stood a bit higher will mask the size difference a bit, but I am by no means sure.
Maybe one day you will all get to see them in the flesh (metal) and see the difference (now that we may
have vaccines!)
The base still needs tarting up with grass etc.. The Red guy is about ready for his head and arms. The
Big guy, as shown, needs the coat painting, which I did yesterday and today. The light was fading towards the
end of both sessions, which certainly didn't help.
Next steps are to finish the base to something like acceptable, stick heads on and finalise positions/orientation.
Mind you, Red isn't going to move much as he slots into two brass tubes fixed into the base and rockpile!

Excellent detail on the figures Howard. The various parts look like coloured fabrics - amazing.
