Even real Flamborough Head chalk, gets in on the act.
The raw stuff,
Crushed up and placed at the bottom of the cliff.

Hi Zak,
I was there on Sunday, and I noticed that the chalk had eroded a little bit since my last visit, now I know why.
The diorama looks great.

Thanks Kevin, you bumped into Neil as well I hear.
A social distancing bump obviously.

A narrow gauge railway at coble landing, well it might just happen.

In 1/35 scale, OO track scale out at about 2 ft, the sleepers will have to be hidden.
The two locos shown are from my WW1 building days. One of them actually works.

This may lead on the a second board and have a permanent place in my modelling room. if I can fit it in.
Sandra wasn't amused when I suggested I could take over another bedroom.

WOW!
I can’t keep up with your phenomenal output!
You seem to make a new model every day!
You’re already on page 8 with your ‘Beside the Seaside’ diorama thread!
I hope you do manage to make it a permanent display in your model room(s)!!!! (Sandra notwithstanding!)

Sorry, not much to add, still laying cobbles, and you may not like a model railway on here, but that's what it will be. It is still modelling and in 1:35 scale to boot.

Extension to Coble landing.
This will become Silex Works.
Silex Bay,what used to be Selwick Bay at Flamborough.
Silex is also a form of rock/sand - I will let you look it up.

I see its going the same way as some of your other models - not only excellent but getting larger and larger and larger. How many tables would this take up when its finished if you took it to the club meeting or a show ??????

Too many, I intend to make this "model railway" a permanent display in my modelling room - hopefully.

Is your model room like the Tardis - expands to fit ALL your models ??????????

Your modelling room must be the size of an aircraft hanger!!! I've all on finding room for my 1/72 scale stuff and that includes 3 display cabinets in the garage. Looks like another great diorama in the offing.
