After much careful adjusting the canopy has finally been fitted, you only get one so you do need to be VERY careful. This was followed by the motor and 'shark fin'. Priming with good old Halford's Grey revealed lots of little pin holes and other lumps and bumps so it was out with the filler again, this time Vallejo.
I went for an MRI this morning and ended up in the same position that the pilot would have been in in Version 1 before I altered things. He would have had a great view of the sky I just saw the edge of the Siemens machine!!!

Hi Chris,
Few days since I last looked at the website properly, this build looks like it is going nicely.
Hope the MRI scan went okay, albeit in a pilots perspective!
Cheers,
Bigkev

Completed model finished as the 5th experimental air-frame (Versuchs 5) during trials with 1/JG 1. Underside and scuffing is Tamiya Matt Aluminium, with Revell Mud Green weathering powder. Upper surfaces are Lifecolour RLM 81 & 82, weathered with Flory Black wash. Markings are from the spares box.
Thankfully there wasn't much tidying up to do around the cockpit when the masking tape was removed. A great topic if you're into Luft46 or looking for something different but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone new to resin.
The launch trailer is borrowed from the PM Models Lippisch P.13a.

Nice model but the subject looks like the product of a deranged mind.

Well done!
Your model looks good but the thing itself looks all wrong!
