A brown wash on the soil - so if it shows through the grass, its not white plaster of Paris - yes i know the edges need a little more colour, on with it.
The last photo is the basic block colour added to the ogre  figure - a little more touching up on the edges and then on with the shading - BUT what is his name - hohohhoho

Decided to use this old base I made several years ago.  The ex-poly will give the hight for the knights at the back and enough room for all the standing figures at the front, plaster rocks added to the front of the poly and next job a bit of filler for the ground.

Had a day out in Brid and got this at Mighty Lancer - now which of our club members does this remind me of - hohhohohohohoho

How accurate it all look, very well done -- its something that never happens with my models - hohhohoho
