Title: Colour-coding (or teaching Granny to suck eggs)
Post by: Pen-Pusher on January 05, 2017, 07:40:31 PM
Some of you may recall I recommended these plastic boxes as being ideal for holding Tamiya Acrylic paints. Well since then I've converted (almost completely) to using Vallejo Acrylics due to their extensive colour range and smooth coverage. Unfortunately Vallejo do not colour-code their tops but there is a convenient depression on the top of each screw-top which takes a 'dollop' of paint for easy finding!

PS. Various on-line shops and our friends at Veranus Models are good for obtaining the boxes.

Been doing this for years - but I cover the whole top easier to see.

Good idea! Thanks for the tip.

I already do this, but nice to let people know of a good idea.
Pity that they don't include a small ball bearing for shaking - I usually add one myself.

Yes, I've just made that investment.
