Title: IPMS - where it all began

Sad to here that Peter Elley (IPMS founder) died recently, he was a welcome visitor to our club stand at Telford in recent years, and seemed a very interesting and pleasant man.
In one of the obituaries I read that the very first meeting of the IPMS took place in the first floor function room of the Porcupine on Charing Cross Road.  As I was walking past yesterday, I thought you might enjoy a photo of the venue as it is today (well yesterday anyway).

Yes, I chatted to him on a couple of occasions.
What a nice guy. Sad. I did read about his passing in the IPMS mag.
