I'm not going to build this (finance and chance would be a fine thing) but a friend of mine is doing so at this moment so I'm including this as a modelling project by proxy (and I promise you will not be disappointed).
If you thought Revell's new 1/72 Skipjack submarine was big (and I know one will be at our show in September) just look again! Lindberg's 1/72 IJN I-53 is massive at an inch over five foot in length! Detail looks and I am assured is fantastic with many PE sets to complete a great model! More soon.
