Title: Noises in the dark
Post by: cph64 on January 11, 2021, 04:11:38 PM
If anyone is wondering what the noises in the dark are it's not MSeas zombies on the rampage or Zaks loft groaning under the weight of all the models!!!
The Swiss AF have 3 Staffel of F-18s flying out of RAF Leeming on night exercises. Apparently they can't do it in Switzerland as the locals don't like them flying at night plus there's the risk of flying into mountains and causing avalanches. So we get to improve our ID of a/c flying in the dark. Bonus?

Hope we're sending an invoice for use of the airspace.

I had read about it. Even a bit more activity in the last few days during daylight hours aswell.
