A step too far, although in the fantasy word it seems that many airships are just that, ships in the air - a sailing ship hull suspended from the balloon. My imagination cannot cope with that.
I did make some ladders, I was going to take the easy route out and buy some, but Mr Cropper did not have any in stock.
My method involves taping a piece of plastic strip of the required thickness to my cutting mat.
The steps were then cut - I use a guillotine to try to ensure they all end up the same size.
The rungs were then glued to the strip, this was allowed to dry and the other side added. It was all stuck using Tamiya thin.
The ladder was then added to the model.
